Walker Young

Walker Young is an experienced commercial litigator and appellate attorney known for his ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, persuasive arguments. He has successfully represented businesses, property owners, and individuals in high-stakes litigation across Texas and has argued cases before several of the state’s appellate courts. Clients rely on his strategic thinking, courtroom acumen, and results-driven approach.

Walker earned his J.D. cum laude from SMU’s Dedman School of Law, where he attended on a Dean’s Scholarship. While at SMU, he served as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, a Case Note and Comment editor on the International Law Review, and a member of the Jessup International Moot Court team. He holds a B.A. in History and Political Science from Wake Forest University. A proud Eagle Scout, Walker exemplifies the values of leadership, discipline, and service in every aspect of his practice.

Before entering private practice, Walker clerked for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and served as a briefing attorney for the Eleventh Court of Appeals in Eastland. These roles provided him with a firsthand understanding of how judges evaluate cases, equipping him with insights that continue to shape his advocacy in both trial and appellate courts.

Originally from Houston, Walker now lives in Dallas with his wife, Meghan. They enjoy attending Highland Park United Methodist Church and raising their Boston Terrier, Lulu. In his spare time, Walker helps out on his family’s cattle ranch in Milam County, Texas—land his family has ranched for seven generations.
